Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Newport Pagnell, I came across a charming hotel that perfectly balanced traditional and modern elements. The location was particularly convenient, with free parking available at the rear, making it a hassle-free experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly staff who were attentive and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The room I occupied was adequately equipped, featuring a comfy bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. Although it was a bit chilly initially, I appreciated the thoughtful note from the owners explaining their efforts to manage energy costs. Once heated, the room provided a cozy atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The hotel's residents lounge offered a quiet retreat, perfect for sipping a drink and catching up on the news. I also enjoyed breakfast, which featured a satisfactory selection and was served by gracious staff. While I didn't dine in-house, the menu appeared promising for those seeking typical pub fare. This hotel is a fine choice for travelers looking to experience a blend of comfort and accessibility.
